During the application and recruitment process, you will be advised of the best route for you. Details of the specific content of the English SKE and TTEP are given below.
Stage 1: Subject Knowledge Enhancement (SKE) – 100% online
Where identified during selection and recruitment you may complete an 8 or 12-week SKE. This is delivered online so you can manage these hours around your other commitments. This course is 100 % distance learning and comes with a personal tutor. The course is free and attracts a bursary of £200 per week for eligible trainees. The content of the English SKE is made up of the following topics and modules:
